Zaha Hadid's One Thousand Museum is the last residential tower designed by the Iraqi-British architect.

Completed at the end of last year, new photographs of the 216-metre luxury skyscraper show the Miami building in all it's glory.

Located opposite the city's popular Museum Park, the tall, slender building also has plenty of classic Hadid curves.

Curvilinear details include flowing lines, curved structures and ringed pools and gardens at the base of the 83-unit residential building. Inside, the flow continues with curved windows, slanted furniture and rounded ceiling edges.

Columnar tubes at the bottom of the tower create a rigid tube, purpose-built to resist Miami's high winds and hurricanes, according to Zaha Hadid Architects.

The building's crystal-like exterior is designed to reflect the Miami sunshine and all apartments and town houses in the 63-storey building come with views of Biscayne Bay towards Miami Beach.

Double-height rooftop pool

Topping off the residential sector of the tower is a two-level penthouse and on the roof is a double-height swimming pool dubbed the Aquatic Centre. It has huge windows filled with views of the North Atlantic Ocean.

Residents also have access to a spa with a sauna, rain shower and steam room. For those looking to hit Miami Beach, the resident-only One Thousand Museum private beach club comes with free rides from door to bay.

A multimedia theatre for intimate movie nights, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, sprawling events space and rooftop helipad complete the luxury offerings.

One Thousand Museum was one of the last projects that Hadid worked on before she died in 2016. In 2004, the architect became the first woman to win the Pritzker Architecture Prize. She established Zaha Hadid Architects in 1980.

The company has worked on projects including the London Aquatics Centre for the 2012 Olympics Games and the Heydar Aliyev Center in Azerbaijan.

Closer to home, she designed Abu Dhabi’s 842-metre-long Sheikh Zayed Bridge and Dubai's double 20-storey tower The Opus.
