Airbus A380 travel will be the only way to go when flying to the French capital out of Abu Dhabi later this year when Etihad Airways starts its second daily service linking its base with Paris Charles de Gaulle airport.
With the new flights set to take off from October 1, 2018, the move transforms the double-decker services between the UAE and French capitals into a year-round proposition. The airline has operated the A380 between Abu Dhabi and Paris since July 2017.

“Paris has always been a very special destination on the Etihad network, and the number of visitors from France to Abu Dhabi, and vice versa has continued to show significant growth. The route has never been more in demand,” says Etihad Airways chief executive Peter Baumgartner.
"We have seized the opportunity to place our flagship Airbus A380 on our second daily flight, following the great reception the aircraft has received from our guests, and to ensure we offer product consistency on the route."

The airline’s A380 aircraft can seat up to 496 passengers - two in the Residence, nine in First Class, 70 in Business and 415 in Economy.
From October, the flights to the French capital will depart Abu Dhabi at 2.15am and 9.05am and arrive in Paris at 7.40am (local time) and 2.20pm respectively, while the returns will depart Paris at 10.35am and 9.55pm respectively.
