Dubai is the latest city to welcome the TRYP by Wyndham hotel concept, after Abu Dhabi, Brisbane, New York, Paris and Sao Paulo. The brand follows a "powered by the city" motto, in that it makes the best of each destination's attributes and targets holidaymakers who care about affordable accommodation in a great location. Accordingly, TRYP by Wyndham Dubai offers 650 rooms at Barsha Heights in "new" Dubai, an area that is close to the city's younger pockets - Media City, Dubai Marina - as well as to Mall of the Emirates, and is a few minutes away from the Sharaf DG metro station. Early-bird rates at this four-star property start from Dh199 per night, including breakfast. Families can stay in the hotel's larger VYP rooms, which come with a living room with a convertible sofa bed and an extra bathroom, as well as access to the VYP club. The hotel will feature three restaurants: Local, centred around the concept of comfort food; L!QD, a tapas-style restaurant and bar next to the swimming pool; and Barbary, a deli and cocktail club. Guests can also sign up for the Wyndham Rewards loyalty programme, and earn 1,000 points for every hotel stay, redeemable for one free night when you reach 15,000 points at 8,000 hotels across the world.
