Hands-on and interactive workshops for various age groups include puzzles, micro-coding, energy, healthy hearts and the science of sound. You can also see live demonstrations and enjoy a performance by the Ministry of Science team.

Register to take part in the My Hero: A Doll Making Workshop as part of Dubai Design Week. The class is for children ages 6 to 16, who will need to be accompanied by an adult. Each child will be asked to draw their hero. They will then learn creative thinking and basic sewing skills in the process of bringing their drawings to life as a doll.

Cinema Space presents screenings of two Italian films. Mafioso is a 1962 dark comedy about an auto-factory foreman who takes his wife and daughters to rural Sicily, where he discovers some harsh truths about his ancestors and himself. Caesar Must Die is a 2013 documentary about the inmates at a high-security Roman prison who perform a play annually. Both films are in Italian with English subtitles.

See the opening of the exhibition Learning from Gulf Cities, a group project that is the culmination of a collaboration between Harvey Molotch, Davide Ponzini and Michele Nastasi. The exhibition challenges depictions of cities in the GCC as insular, insubstantial or flamboyant imitators, portraying them as both originating and reflecting what is happening in the wider urban world.
