My favourite things: Sasha Sarokin

My favourite city in the world is Rio de Janeiro in Brazil because of the diversity of the city, the spirit of the people and the vibe on the streets. The city's celebratory energy is so inspiring.

My all-time favourite meal has got to be sushi.

My favourite person in the world is probably American poet Maya Angelou.

The most treasured item I own is a watch, which I got from my parents when I graduated.

My go-to beauty product is the Cure Sheer Cream by Natura Bissé, which functions as my foundation, moisturiser and SPF all in one.

My favourite book is The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, because it’s inspiring, poignant and achingly chic.

The best journey I’ve taken was to Burma, at least so far.

The favourite item in my wardrobe is currently my Adam Lippes leopard coat.

The best part of my job is working with talented designers and witnessing their beautiful creations first-hand.

The favourite part of my day is checking the newly uploaded styles on Themodist.com.

My favourite song at the moment is anything from Maribou States.

Despite what I do professionally, I am far from being a collector. I endeavour to try to be a minimalist as much as humanly possible.

The best piece of advice I have ever received is to always be positive and authentic.

My favourite cheat treats are Cadbury cream eggs.

According to me, life's greatest luxury is health, and being surrounded with my loved ones.
