UAE hypercar the Fenyr SuperSport has made its debut on the road at this weekend's Goodwood Festival of Speed in England.
The latest model from the Dubai-based W Motors was unveiled in production form at last year's Dubai International Motor Show – but until now, the 400kph, 800hp monster hadn't been seen in motion in public.
The hypercar is powered by a twin-turbo, 3.8-litre flat-six engine that propels it from 0 to 100kph in a dizzying 2.8 seconds.
The Fenyr is the follow-up to the celebrated Lykan HyperSport, which has turned heads in the past few years thanks to its diamond-encrusted headlights and a holographic infotainment display, as well as a US$3 million (Dh11m) price tag and a guest appearance in the Fast & Furious movie franchise.
As W Motors' chairman/chief executive Ralph Debbas told The National last year, the Fenyr is expected to be followed by a new supercar, with plans to bring the company's production to a new factory in Jebel Ali before the end of the decade.
