Bigger and Bolder: New GMC Acadia 2020 rears its headlights in the UAE

GMC has joined the horde releasing new SUVs into the Middle East this year by unveiling its 2020 Acadia.

The marketing crew are calling it the Bolder version, so that gives us some clue that they think it might have had more than a facelift.

According to the blurb, new features include a turbo engine and the latest GMC infotainment system, along with a beefed-up grille and new front and rear facias, which they're calling aggressive exterior styling.

It doesn't quite have the scares of a Cadillac XT6 but it looks like it might be able to beat a Mazda CX-9 in an arm wrestle.

A nine-speed automatic transmission and a revamped head-up display is also in the mix for the Acadia.

The new line-up is now available in showrooms across the Middle East and we'll be road-testing one in March. The current range includes SLE, SLT, an all-new AT4 trim and GMC’s flagship Denali, with available seating arrangements for five, six or seven passengers.
