  Hotel residents (who get free entry to the club) can access the beach club through an exclusive underground tunnel available from the hotel’s third floor.

• 

  Train like a Spartan is the mantra of the beach club’s gym facility and it’s open to the public. Classes are Dh50 and Dh450 for a package of ten sessions.

• 

  After signing up at the lobby, visitors and club members will encounter a 12 by 35 metre temperature controlled pool that’s 1.3 meters deep. There is also a Jacuzzi area and an inbuilt pool bar serving a wide range of beverages.

  In a shrewd piece of marketing, guests will have to walk through the hotel’s in-house spa facilities and outdoor restaurant Azura before reaching another lift descending to the ground floor. The tunnel is all white marble and elegant chandeliers and ends at another set of elevators taking you to the doors of the beach club.

  The main drawcard is the 200-meter stretch of private beach with dedicated sporting facilities including beach volleyball.

  There is also a Jacuzzi area and an inbuilt pool bar serving a wide range of beverages. Waiters are also on call to deliver your orders if you are tanning in any one of the pool’s twelve cabanas.
