Birds, trees, flowers and travels are the inspiration behind the fantastic new range of printed fabrics now in stock at Boxed Online.
As with all Boxed products, the collection has been created by a small-scale independent designer, in this case the US-based MonaLuna, a one-woman operation run from a farmhouse in the delightfully named Walnut Creek, California.
MonaLuna, aka Jennifer Moore, specialises in designing charming, playful graphic prints in the retro, mid-century look that's so big right now. She uses the colours - fresh greens, sky blues and sunny yellows - that are reminiscent of summer travels through the West Coast, northern Europe and the South of France.
The fabric is made in India, printed with AZO-free dyes, and is ideal for quilting, dressmaking and home accessories such as cushion covers and table linen. Her very lovely seagull print Soar Marin fabric is especially recommended.
Each piece is sold in yards and costs $16 (Dh59) per yard. Postage to the UAE costs Dh66 for up to eight yards.
