Cool cats should beat a path to Cocktail Kitchen in Dubai’s JLT on Wednesday, November 23, for the inaugural visit by the world-famous Turtleneck Club.
Established in 2007, the organisation tours the world, holding sartorial soirées that extol the virtues of a time “when letters were written by hand”.
Dubai is the next stop on the global trail and from 8-11pm patrons wearing a turtleneck will be treated to a specially created dinner menu and selection of beverages from Dh350 per person.
Entertainment will be provided by a DJ spinning classic vinyl from the 1950s onwards, in addition to live poetry readings.
For ladies and gents who make the biggest effort to embrace the 'turtleneck vibe' their efforts will be rewarded with a generous Dh1,500 voucher from Reiss, as well as a complimentary styling consultation in-store.
