The real Le Relais de l’Entrecôte, a famous French steakhouse, is now in Dubai

The famous French bistro Le Relais de l’Entrecôte has just opened at the Boulevard in Downtown Dubai and it is a must-try.

The French steakhouse from Paris is famous for offering just one main dish on their menu: steak and fries served with a secret sauce.

You won’t be vacillating over a menu here and vegetarians need not show up. Each dinner starts with a green salad topped with walnuts and a mustard vinaigrette, followed by a premium beef steak and fries, complete with a taste of that famous secret sauce, to be followed by an array of classic French desserts.

The restaurant started in 1959 when Paul Gineste de Saurs opted to only serve steak and fries at his restaurant. The concept worked and people are still lining up around the world to get a taste. In addition to its original Paris location and the latest location in Dubai, Le Relais de l’Entrecôte has outlets in Geneva, Hong Kong, Doha, Riyadh, Bahrain, Beirut and Kuwait. The restaurant has had many impostors over the years (including a few that popped up in the UAE) with similar sounding names, but this one is the original.
