You might more commonly associate coffee with a piece of chocolate as an afternoon treat, but Cocosia Artisan Chocolates in Al Barsha, just behind Mall of the Emirates, is making tea the toast of the month.
The store recommends three pairings, the first of which is their popular Strassbourg chocolate selection with a cup of fragrant Dammann Frères Earl Grey Vert Primeur. For those who favour a bolder cup of tea there’s the earthy Dammann Frères Pu-Erh which is perfectly complimented by the Japanese citrus flavours of Cocosia’s Yuzu chocolates. Last but no means least, chief chocolatier Qudsia Karim recommends smoky Lapsang Souchong and the bitter-sweetness of the maison’s 70 per cent chocolate offerings.
