Taste of Abu Dhabi will get a new venue when it returns to the capital this November. The popular outdoor food and drink festival will now be held at Zayed Sports City, instead of du Arena where it has been held the previous two years.
Chris Fountain, managing director of Turret Media, which organises the event, says: “We’re looking forward to attracting an even bigger local audience and delivering the best festival yet. We are confident that our exciting new venue at Zayed Sports City will help us achieve this with its central location, easy access and brilliant open facilities that promise a vibrant atmosphere.”
Taste of Abu Dhabi, a three-day festival for foodies, will serve up bites from some of the best restaurants in the capital. The event will also feature international celebrity chefs, cookery classes, a chef’s theatre for cookery demonstrations, live entertainment and a kids’ zone.
Zayed Sports City general manager Barry Bremmer, says: “Taste of Abu Dhabi is a fantastic event for the community and we are thrilled to be hosting it this year. With a flexible facility and strong footfall, Zayed Sports City is a natural choice. We have great open spaces with easy access that will work well for everyone.”
