Shakespeare and Co has opened its 19th branch at the Nasseriya City Centre in Sharjah.
The cafe, located in the new shopping centre on the corner of Al Zahra Street and Al Qasimi Street, is the first of the six restaurants planned for 2014. Founders will be opening two more in Sharjah and one in the capital this year.
Staying true to the Victorian decor they started out with, the new outlet is adorned with frilly lace, dangling crystals and plush traditional furniture. The restaurant has a patisserie counter with a range of French pastries, petit fours, marshmallows and homemade hand-wrapped chocolate.
The new location can accommodate more than 70 guests in the main dining and mall seating areas.
