This year’s National Day celebrations may be over for another year but Seven Sands restaurant is keeping the festivities going with their Taste of the Emirates set menu.
The Dubai establishment is offering a menu that they believe reflects the true essence of Emirati heritage and hospitality.
The Taste of the Emirates dining experience includes Emirati classics that include a medley of aromatic spices, dried fruits and fresh herbs.
Feast your way through dishes like Harees — Abu Dhabi homemade wheat and fresh veal, blended and served with ghee or olive oil on the side; Homeidh with green mango salad — UAE-grown green mango, homeidh leaves, local baby tomatoes tossed with lemon juice, olive oil and spring onions; Jisheed Sambousa — savoury golden fried pastry stuffed with minced shark and infused with bezar spice, served with rocca salad and sweet chilli dip, and finish with Seven Sands date pudding — an aromatic date cake soaked in a rich toffee sauce.
The Taste of the Emirates three-course menu costs Dh145 per person and is available until December 15 at Seven Sands at The Beach, opposite JBR.
