It’s all about the Italian passion-Pizza-at Carluccio’s for two whole months. The Festa Della Pizza, on until September 27, will be a showcase of limited-edition sweet and savoury pizzas, along with pizza-making classes for children.
The restaurant will be serving up Roman-style pizzas with charred crusts, topped with the usuals, as well as gourmet specials such as duck confit, figs, crab meat, shrimps and zucchini.
For those with a sweet tooth, try the dessert pizzas, served on a crisp golden base and topped with mascarpone passion fruit cream, Nutella and sliced banana.
Classes for children will be led by an expert chef, who will guide them into creating their own pizzas with a lesson in the basics of kneading, baking and toppings.
Carluccio’s food shop will also sell chilli oils and chilli-based products.
