The 6th annual Italian Cuisine World Summit will be in Dubai this November. The Summit debuted in Dubai last year after four years in Hong Kong. Because of the overwhelming success of last year’s Dubai event, organisers opted to bring the Summit back to the Emirate for the second year in a row.
The Summit, which will be held from November 7 — 20, is considered one of the world’s most influential Italian food and lifestyle events. It will thrill food lovers as it showcases, promotes and educates about traditional Italian cuisine and ingredients. During the Summit, many Michelin-starred chefs will be cooking as guest chefs in some of Dubai’s finest Italian restaurants.
Among the events held during the Summit is the Piazza Grande Food Show, which will feature music, entertainment, food tastings, the best pizza in the UAE competition, the best espresso in the UAE competition, the Risotto World competition and three acrobatic pizzaiolos. Other events include VIP dinners, a truffle charity auction, a truffle masterclass and the Italian Cuisine Gladiators Cooking Contest.
Some of the restaurants participating in the Summit are Alta Badia, Armani, Bice, Bice Mare, Bussola, Casa Mia and Cavalli (just to name a few). The participating restaurants will welcome more than 40 Italian chefs from Italy and around the world to create special menus for the restaurants during the summit. Each of the restaurants will also feature a unique gala night.
