Intersect by Lexus has just launched a new a la carte brunch in DIFC.
Guests can watch chefs at the Lexus-themed restaurant prepare food in the show kitchen and then make their way through the bar where drinks are served in milk bottles.
Foodies can nosh on unlimited hot and cold starters and then choose one sharing-style entree from the menu, which is loaded with healthy, organic ingredients.
The menu changes weekly and includes dishes such as seared scallops with butternut squash; Chilean sea bass with yuzu glazed turnips; and slow-cooked beef short ribs with celeriac purée. Guests are free to indulge in an unlimited selection of desserts.
The brunch also features live music from Lisa Dijkman, accompanied by guitarist Peter Antal. Dijkman mixes her original songs with popular cover songs and adds unique jazz touches.
Benjamin Nicolas, general manager of the restaurant, says: “We wanted to create an atmosphere for the new Friday brunch that reflect the ethos of Intersect by Lexus. The concept of the space is rooted in craftsmanship, innovation and creativity, which are expressed though the delectable hand-picked menu and the original live music, which continues to position the space as a cultural hub.
It wouldn’t be a Dubai brunch if people were not able to overindulge, so we made sure to create a menu that lets people enjoy their Friday to the maximum, yet still feel good as the food is healthy and full of organic ingredients.”
The new brunch is offered every Friday from noon to 4pm. Dh195 with soft drinks. For reservations, call 04 355 9524.
