House of Pizza is now open in Dubai at Golden Mile 1 on Palm Jumeirah. This is the first UAE location for the pizza shop, which started in Ottawa, Canada.
The pizzeria serves up speciality pizzas, pastas, salads, sandwiches and eight different versions of poutine, the French-Canadian staple of French fries, cheese and gravy. The menu includes the classic Canadian version of poutine as well as a Cajun, American, Mexican, Italian, and Lebanese version. Pizzas include the Canadian, American, Mexican, Greek, Hawaiian, chicken and more. The dessert section boasts a Nutella pizza as well as honey nut poutine and chocolate pomegranate poutine. There’s even a shakshuka breakfast pizza made with sautéed Shakshuka sauce, red bell pepper, feta cheese, fresh parsley and organic eggs.
House of Pizza started in Ottawa in 1965 and was taken over by Hisham Ibrahim in 2007. Ibrahim kept the authentic, homemade character of the pizzeria, but added his own personal touch to the brand. Born in Lebanon, Ibrahim spent his childhood in Africa later moved to Canada, where he now lives and works as House of Pizza’s head chef.
House of Pizza is open daily from 10am to 10pm with delivery from 10am to 3am. 04 514 9670,
