A new cookbook, Healthy Iftar Recipes, will launch in e-book form on the first day of Ramadan.

The book is filled with 50 iftar recipes that will make it easier for people to maintain a healthy diet throughout the Holy Month and beyond.

Offered in both English and Arabic, the cookbook contains recipes for soups, salads, appetisers and mains, including tomato and basil soup, okra and lamb stew, baked yogurt and cucumber and ginger root juice.

There’s even a section that focuses on healthier desserts.
