• Seven Sands, the recently opened Emirati restaurant at The Beach, Dubai, will celebrate the UAE's most beloved treat throughout October with their first Legemat Festival. Typically, the sweet sticky dumplings are fried and coated with date syrup. The Legemat Festival at Seven Sands will offer up six different varieties: saffron orange, pistachio; Nutella; balaleet cinnamon; nutmeg honey and cardamom with honey sugar. • Hard Rock Cafe Dubai will celebrate Vegetarian Awareness Month by adding a range of new vegetarian options to its classic menu. More than 25 vegetarian dishes will debut starting October 4. New dishes include a quinoa burger; south-west spiced tofu and black bean wrap; potato, chickpea and spinach burger; grilled vegetable and halloumi wrap; fennel, beet and orange Salad and more. • Wakame, a new Asian restaurant and bar, will open at the Sofitel Downtown Dubai this October. The restaurant will focus on authentic Asian ingredients with a focus on sushi and dim sum.
