• To celebrate Atlantis, The Palm’s debut at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show in London, the hotel has been decked out in flowers by resident florist Al Lokrit International. They’ve also brought TWG Tea on board to offer guests a Chelsea Flower Show afternoon tea at Ossiano on Friday, May 22 and Saturday, May 23. The flower themed menu will offer guests a taste of the exclusive TWG Tea Yellow Gold Tea Buds, complete with 24ct gold. Ossiano is also offering a Chelsea Flower Show dinner through May 23. Dishes include foie gras and hibiscus; toothfish and spring flowers and orange blossom vacherin. • Cavalli Caffe has just launched a catering menu that will bring the restaurant’s favourite dishes into your home. Executive chef Mark Molnar, who has worked in nine different Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, came up with the idea to give those hosting a dinner party an easy, flavourful and intimate catering option. Some of the menu favoruties available for catering include linguine with lobster and fresh tomato, lemon chicken piccata and roasted garlic mash, pan fried fillet of salmon, tomato concassé, capers, samphire and citrus glaze, breaded rice balls filled with beef ragu and mozzarella and Cavalli’s signature rich beef ravioli. Chefs will bring the dishes to your home or event and plate each dish, giving the host little to worry about. Price will vary according to size of party and menu options chosen. • Try the new Taste of Hakkasan summer menu at Hakkasan Abu Dhabi and Hakkasan Dubai featuring three courses plus a small bite to start and new, summer beverages. On the menu: dim sum and crispy duck roll to start, followed by a choice of soup, an assortment of mains such as the steamed red snapper and Hakkasan’s signature tofu and aubergine claypot in black bean sauces, ending with dessert. • The Ajman Palace hotel has a new executive chef. Chef Thomas Fischer, from Switzerland, has more than 20 years experience working in five-star hotels in Europe and the Middle East.
