Abu Dhabi’s second Belgian Cafe open at Novotel Gate

Good news for fans of the Belgian Cafe as a second branch opens in Abu Dhabi. The first, in the InterContinental hotel, has been a popular dining spot in the capital for a few years now and the new location, in the Novotel Gate Hotel at Bain Al Jesrain, is perfect for off-island residents for whom the InterCon is a bit of a trek. The new branch is serving the tried-and-true Belgian menu of mussels, steak tartare, steak frites and more, but will also be expanding with a nod to the aquatic views from its outdoor terrace overlooking the creek. The Belgian Cafe has around 60 branches across four continents and was devised in 1998. Open from 4pm to 2am Sunday to Thursday and from 11am to 2am Friday and Saturday.
