Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi on Yas Island has launched its newly renovated Stills Outdoor Lounge. The swanky new terrace still has the same great views of the Abu Dhabi skyline, but it now has an all-new look with an all-new menu featuring innovative bites designed by Stills' chef de cuisine Shibojyoti Basak. New dishes include shrimp vampino (shrimp stuffed with crabmeat, wrapped in nori paper and served with sauce verde); braised beef brisket; an anchiote beef ciabatta open sandwich; tangy lemon posset for dessert and more. It's truffle time at Yas Viceroy. Amici, the Italian restaurant at the hotel, has launched its white truffle menu available for lunch and dinner. Fill up on authentic Italian dishes that have been given a luxurious lift with in-season white Alba truffles straight from Italy. The truffle menu will be offered throughout October and, if the truffles last, will spill into November as well. Amici is open from 12:30pm to 3pm for lunch and from 7pm to 11pm for dinner. The Pool Deck barbecue at Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa by Anantara returns this season starting October 15. The festive barbecue includes grilled meats, gourmet salads, a dessert buffet and unlimited flow of beverages. The Pool Deck barbecue nights run from 7pm to 11pm every Thursday. Emirates Palace will relaunch its barbecue restaurant on October 12. BBQ Al Qasr, with its stunning beachside setting comes back this season with a new menu. The outdoor restaurant will be once-again serving up signature seafood, chargrilled meats, freshly baked breads, salads and sweets each night of the week. It's open daily from 7pm to midnight. To celebrate their 70 year anniversary, Max's Restaurant has launched a '4 Sharing Menu' across its outlets in the UAE. Throughout October, the sharing meal will include one Max's whole regular fried chicken; beef asado; four soups of the day; four plain rice; a dessert sampler and four soft drinks — all for Dh149. The popular Filipino chain restaurant is famous for its fried chicken (and banana ketchup).
