Across the four fashion capitals, the world’s biggest designers have been showcasing their visions for spring / summer 2020.

Among the usual season staples of pastels and florals, there have been some looks that have really stood out from the crowd.

From cartoon-esque top hats and tropical pineapple crop tops on the catwalks in Milan, to exaggerated shoulders and eccentric headpieces over in London, plenty of designers have used this fashion month as a chance to experiment and have fun with fashion.

New York was the first city to kick off fashion month at the beginning of September, before the style-pack headed to London and Milan. Paris, largely thought of as the most prestigious showcase, will close the month with a number of high profile shows this week.
