Unless you have been living in a cave for the past year, then you will already know that South Korean boy band BTS are currently the hottest group in the known universe.

Already worth a cool $60 million (Dh220m), the seven members – RM, Jungkook, V, J-Hope, Jimin, Suga and Jin – have collaborated with sports brand Fila to release a range of sneakers and sportswear items, under the name Voyager Collection.

Comprising hats, T-shirts, hoodies, bags and, of course, sneakers, when it went on sale in the US, it sold out in 24 hours. Now the collection has reached the UAE and will be on sale exclusively at the Fila store at Mall of the Emirates and online via its website.

As befitting the band's stratospheric status, the collection is decorated with shades of purple (BTS's signature hue), zodiac signs and images of the night's sky, to echo the “Voyager” title.

The collection is named in homage to the Nasa Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 spacecrafts, which – since launching in 1977 – have ventured further into space than any other man-made object, and have swept past Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune.

The clothing collaboration is just part of another big week ahead for BTS. The group will be releasing their highly anticipated English-language track Dynamite on Friday, August 21, with plans for a new album by the end of the year.

It was also announced in a corporate briefing from their agency Big Hit Entertainment that the band will be coming out with their own variety show next month called In the Soop, BTS.

The Birkin bag is made by Hermès.
It is named after actress and singer Jane Birkin
Noone from Hermès will go on record to say how much a new Birkin costs, how long one would have to wait to get one, and how many bags are actually made each year.
