It has been described as Lebanon's wedding of the year: Elie Saab Jr, the eldest son of celebrated designer Elie Saab, married Christina Mourad in Beirut on Friday July 19.
Of course, the bride – who goes by the nickname Kika – wore a custom gown by her new father-in-law, Elie Saab.
According to sources, the religious ceremony was held in the church of Bkerki, which is northeast of Beirut, and was attended by over 1,000 guests.
For the reception, the festivities moved to the exclusive Faqra Club. The pre-wedding celebrations were held at Le Plateau de Bakish, close to the Faqra Club.
The wedding was attended by some of the biggest names in Lebanon, with Assi El Hallani and Elissa and Michel Fadel all performing at the event.
Elissa stood with Claudine Saab, the mother of the groom, at the pre-wedding celebration:
Celebrity make-up artist, Bassam Fattouh, was also in attendance. He shared touching images of Mourad walking into the wedding, and a photo of the bride alone, with the caption: "The whole world is watching and she is worth it".
Fattouh did the bride's make-up on the big day and her hair was by Wassim Morkos.
According to Vogue Arabia, the prestigious guest list also included Chantal Thomass, Dita Von Teese, Toni Garrn, Sara Sampaio, Alina Baikova, Karolina Kurkova, Lily Donaldson, and Bianca Brandolini. The magazine's editor-in-chief, Manuel Arnaut, was also at the wedding.
Elie Saab is yet to share any photos from the wedding on his social media feed, but the event's official photographers, ParAzar Productions, shared many images and videos from the celebrations, including a shot of Saab with his wife Claudine:

Christina Mourad's selection of Elie Saab dresses
For the weekend-long occasion, Mourad wore an impressive four Elie Saab designs. For the pre-wedding party at Le Plateau de Bakish she donned a floor-length white dress with a gold belt, sheer gold abaya and gold head-piece.
For the ceremony, the dress was custom-made by Saab for the bride. Details of the intricate work can be seen in the video below, including a touching moment with Mourad welling up as she sees herself in the gown and Saab looking delighted by the finished result:
For the later festivities, at Faqra Club, she wore Mourad wore a second wedding gown. A full-skirted dress with more intricate and glittering embellishment, also designed by Elie Saab. It seems she kept a veil on throughout the evening.
And the parties didn't stop there. The couple hosted a sunrise party, also at the Faqra Club. For the late night celebration the bride chose a more risque high-necked blue dress.

Who is Christina Mourad?
Little is known of Elie Saab Jr's new bride. However, it has been reported that she was introduced to her new husband at a gathering hosted by his younger brother, Celio Saab. She is said to have known Celio for a number of years.
