On September 20, Filipino singer Sarah Geronimo brought her THIS I5 ME tour to Dubai, celebrating 15 years in the entertainment industry. To mark the occasion, she looked to international Filipino designer Amato to dress her.
During a visit to the Amato atelier, the 30-year-old pop sensation said: "Everyone knows that I am a great fan of Amato. I love his designs, his dresses gives me confidence, I feel fierce and on top of the world. Amato creates the perfect pop-star dress!"
The Dubai-based Filipino brand created three looks for Geronimo. The opening number was this richly embellished volume gown (see main picture)
The second look was this detailed embroidered black mini-gown with feather accents:
And the third look was this crystallised halter peach gown:
Co-founder and creative director of Amato Couture, Furne One, said of the concert: "It is such an honour for me to be able to be tapped once again by Sarah Geronimo's team to glam her up during her concert here in Dubai. All three looks are iconic and all statement pieces."
Amato has dressed many celebrities, including supermodels Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks, and singing sensations Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj, Shakira, Nicole Scherzinger and Jessie J.
