When Rihanna’s make-up brand, Fenty Beauty, launched earlier this month, it drove beauty bloggers, make-up artists and fans of the Barbadian singer into a tizzy. The line launched with a range of complexion-based products, including long-wear foundations, shimmer sticks, highlighters and concealers. And, over the weekend, Rihanna posted a teaser campaign for her upcoming holiday collection.
Titled Galaxy, the holiday range by Fenty Beauty will be on the shelves on October 13. In the UAE, we'll be able to shop the collection at Sephora stores.
As can be seen from Rihanna’s Instagram sneak previews, the range will offer a host of bright, shimmering shades of lipsticks and eyeshadows. For lips, fans can expect bubblegum pink, coral and berry tones; for eyes, glitter-filled hues of turquoise, fuchsia, indigo, gold, silver and more. In typical Rihanna-style, the palette comes in a bold, holographic case. There’s also a liquid eyeliner in the range.
Having partnered with Puma on a range of footwear and apparel, under the Fenty Puma by Rihanna line, and now at the head of her own cosmetics label, Rihanna seems to be building her own fashion and beauty empire. The faux-fur pool slides from her collaboration with Puma quickly became fashion-girl staples, and if Fenty Beauty is all that it’s hyped up to be, then the singer is proving that there’s more to her than just a stellar voice.
