If you're getting a head start on planning your looks for this winter's wedding season, consider investing in flamboyant footwear by Christian Louboutin. The brand has partnered with luxury e-commerce website Moda Operandi, known for offering exclusive, pre-order access to next-season designer wear.

The limited-edition capsule collection is now available on Moda Operandi's recently launched Shoe Salon, a platform on the site that combines editorial content with digital e-commerce. Baroque detailing in the form of intricate embroidery and beadwork feature heavily on the black suede shoes, which come in pointed-toe and mule heels, along a pair of flats, available in two colours.

The three designs were inspired by 18th-century court attire, and the shoes are punctuated by beads in Bleu de France, a colour typically used to represent France. Customers can choose between gold and silver embroidery, and can opt to have their initials embroidered on their shoes, too. Each handcrafted pair takes about 65 hours to create.

The trunk show is on until August 17, but there are only 50 pairs of shoes available.
