Kylie Jenner has continued her love affair with Emirati labels, sporting two UAE brands over the past week.
The 21-year-old, who was recently named as the world's youngest self-made billionaire, is no stranger to Middle Eastern designers, and often looks to this part of the world for style inspiration.
Most recently, the reality star wore a black ruffled custom-made mini dress by Emirati designer Ahmed Khyeli for a series of black and white portraits posted on Instagram by stylist, Jill Jacobs.
Jenner was later pictured carrying a bag by Dubai-based handbag designer L'Afshar – a long-time favourite brand for the young mother.
She chose the GIO box-bag in Caramel to complement her stone, bodycon dress for a dinner with her famous sisters in Los Angeles, sharing a photo of the look with her 129 million Instagram followers.
In the past Kylie has been a fan of the clear Perspex clutch bags from L’Afshar, a brand which has a growing legion of A-list fans including Beyonce and Bella Hadid.
Farage on Muslim Brotherhood
Nigel Farage told Reform's annual conference that the party will proscribe the Muslim Brotherhood if he becomes Prime Minister.
"We will stop dangerous organisations with links to terrorism operating in our country," he said. "Quite why we've been so gutless about this – both Labour and Conservative – I don't know.
“All across the Middle East, countries have banned and proscribed the Muslim Brotherhood as a dangerous organisation. We will do the very same.”
It is 10 years since a ground-breaking report into the Muslim Brotherhood by Sir John Jenkins.
Among the former diplomat's findings was an assessment that “the use of extreme violence in the pursuit of the perfect Islamic society” has “never been institutionally disowned” by the movement.
The prime minister at the time, David Cameron, who commissioned the report, said membership or association with the Muslim Brotherhood was a "possible indicator of extremism" but it would not be banned.
Islamophobia definition
A widely accepted definition was made by the All Party Parliamentary Group on British Muslims in 2019: “Islamophobia is rooted in racism and is a type of racism that targets expressions of Muslimness or perceived Muslimness.” It further defines it as “inciting hatred or violence against Muslims”.
