In her second look of the day, the Duchess of Cambridge has stepped out in a green Catherine Walker tunic coat to attend lunch with Pakistan's Prime Minister, Imran Khan.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are currently on a five-day tour of the South Asian country, and today have a number of engagements in the capital, Islamabad.
For lunch with Khan at his residence in Islamabad, the duchess wore the green silk coat by Catherine Walker, with white trousers by Maheen Khan, a scarf by Pakistani brand Satrangi and earrings by Zeen. She also chose an olive green shoe and clutch set.
Green is the national colour of Pakistan.
Khan was a close friend of Prince William's mother, Princess Diana. Three months before she died, she visited a a cancer hospital in Lahore with Khan and his then-wife, Jemima Goldsmith, in May 1997.
This is the second time Kate has worn designs by Pakistani designer Maheen Khan and the brand Zeen. Earlier in the day, the royal couple visited the Islamabad Model College for Girls and for the visit to the school, the duchess wore a royal blue kurta by Khan, the chief executive of Fashion Pakistan Week.
Khan confirmed that she was behind the classic design on Twitter, writing, "It is an honour to have been asked to create this outfit for the duchess."
The duchess has also proved loyal to Catherine Walker, the brand that designed the blue shalwar kameez that she wore to arrive in Pakistan on Monday, October 14.
On their first full day in the South Asian country, the British royals have visited the Islamabad Model College for Girls, with the intention of highlighting the importance of education during their visit.
Ahead of their arrival in Pakistan, Kensington Palace said education will be a focus of the trip. The palace announced that the royals plan to "visit programmes which empower young people, and organisations that help ensure they have the best possible start in life.
"Access to quality education, particularly to girls and young women is one of the UK’s top priorities in Pakistan. The Duke and Duchess are looking forward to spending time meeting young Pakistanis, and hearing more about their aspirations for the future."
