As Celine Dion embarks upon her world tour, the Canadian opted to wear a dress by Kuwaiti designer Yousef El Jasmi for the opening night.
Resplendent in a red sequinned, asymmetric racerback design, Dion paired the gown with red stilettos and a new sleek bob hair cut to kick off the Courage World Tour in Quebec.
El Jasmi also designed the gown that the singer is wearing in the official Courage World Tour art.
Not dissimilar to the dress Dion wore on stage, the red sparkling gown in the official imagery has a vest-style top, with one of the straps worn off-the-shoulder.
Dion is not the first star to don designs by the Kuwaiti couturier.
In the last week alone, El Jasmi has posted images of Lady Gaga in a black sequinned version of Dion's vest-style dress, and Nicole Scherzinger has been pictured in a yellow version of the halterneck gown.
Model Jasmine Sanders wore a violet dress by the designer on the 2019 Amfar Gala Milano red carpet. While Sofia Richie wore a pink, sequinned catsuit by the designer to celebrate her 21st birthday in Las Vegas last month.
Bold, glittering, sequinned designs seem to be the El Jasmi trademark, with everything from ballgowns to cocktail looks and wedding dresses in his collection.
