It's been long reported that the formerly close Meghan Markle and Priyanka Chopra have drifted apart, since the former Suits star's wedding to Prince Harry.

But this week they seemed to be back on track as friends, when it was speculated that the Quantico actress had visited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to deliver gifts for baby Archie.

Chopra has denied the claims, however.

British newspaper, The Sun, tweeted a news report that claimed "the generous pair picked out a number of baby gifts from posh jewellers Tiffany". The gifts were said to include a Dh1,100 silver bubble blower.

"While these are great gift ideas... this story is untrue, and I was actually in town for work," Chopra wrote on Twitter, Retweeting The Sun's story. Adding: "I hope whoever this 'source' is starts checking their facts more often".

Chopra attended Harry and Meghan's May 2018 wedding in Windsor, England. It's been speculated that they have been "feuding" since the Duchess of Sussex skipped Chopra's wedding to Nick Jonas in India in November and December last year.

She was asked about a potential fall out on Watch What Happens Live!, when she denied any fallout claims.

When host Andy Cohen asked if she was upset that "Meghan Markle skipped [her] wedding to Nick Jonas?”

Chopra replied: "Oh my god. No, it's not true."

Another of Markle's famous friends is tennis player Serena Williams, who is said to have also visited the royal couple and their baby boy last week, ahead of the French Open.
