Millions of people globally have had to resort to homeschooling their children, as schools the world over had closed their doors in a bid to fight the spread of Covid-19.

Much like parents in the UAE, there are plenty of celebrities who are in the same boat, as they try to workout timetables and schedules, to keep their children busy, engaged and educated at home. Here are a few of the stars who have been sharing their homeschooling journey on social media ...

Victoria Beckham

David and Victoria Beckham have four children, but only youngest child, 8-year-old Harper's classes have made it onto Instagram. The designer posted videos of her daughter doing a maths class app, with a motivational 'Good job Harper' message.

Soloman has been at home teaching her two older sons, and shared a look at the time table she was working on, with 'mum time' built in. She later shared videos of her sons doing a Joe Wicks PE class.

Rio and Kate Ferdinand

The former Manchester United footballer has been running a tight ship at home, but the majority of the home schooling on day one seemed to come down to his wife and reality star Kate Ferdinand. The TV star was seen on her husband's Instagram teaching step-daughter, Tia, 8, a colouring by addition worksheet.

Una Healey

"And so it begins! best of luck to everyone in the same boat this morning," Healey wrote, to caption the photo of her kids practicing their handwriting.

Fearne Cotton

British presenter Fearne Cotton has been homeschooling her children, Rex and Honey, who she chooses to keep off Instagram. She did, however, choose to share insights into their day. The kids started with a Joe Wicks PE class, followed by art. She also posted what she understands of the UK's new lockdown rules here:

Kristen Bell

American actress Kristen Bell has said she doesn't plan to homeschool her children Lincoln, 6, and Delta, 5, while schools in Los Angeles are closed. Instead she is taking advice that she read from a headteacher that instructs parents to "read, read, read" and "cuddle up" without structured lessons, in a bid to “keep everyone’s stress down and really connect”.
