He hasn't made a public appearance since just after his birth, but the world will get a good glimpse at Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor this autumn.
The tot, who was born on May 6, will accompany his parents, Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, on his first overseas engagement later this year.
The family will visit South Africa in the autumn, the royals' official Instagram account confirmed this weekend, as per a request from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
Buckingham Palace did not confirm whether Archie would join his parents for any public official engagements
"This will be their first official tour as a family," the Sussex Royal account added.
However, Archie and Meghan will not participate in the entire tour, with Prince Harry also due to visit Malawi and Angola separately.
"His Royal Highness will also do a short working visit to Botswana en route to the other countries," the Instagram post detailed.
"The Duke and Duchess are really looking forward to meeting so many of you on the ground and continuing to raise awareness of the high impact work local communities are doing across the Commonwealth and beyond."
This trip will mark Prince Harry and Meghan's second overseas tour since marrying on May 19, 2018. The royals undertook a three-week trip to Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand last October, shortly after announcing they were expecting their first child.
Archie was born earlier this year in London's Portland Hospital, weighing in at 3.2 kilograms. Apart from his official debut, made on May 8, the newborn has only appeared in two posts on the Sussexes' Instagram account.
A photo of his feet, cradled by Meghan, was released to mark Mother's Day, while an image of the little one, holding Prince Harry's finger, was unveiled on Father's Day.
Archie is next expected to be seen in July, when his christening is held at St George’s Chapel, the location where Prince Harry and Meghan wed just over a year ago. It is also where Prince Harry was baptised in 1984 when he was three months old.
