As Cindy Crawford and her kids step out for Omega, we ask: is this the best-looking family in the world?

In a world filled with good-looking people, Presley and Kaia Gerber have taken things to a whole different level

Swiss watchmaker Omega seems to know a thing or two about doing things properly.

After all, this is the company that creates the timepieces worn by Nasa astronauts – it made the only watch that was worn on the Moon – and it is the official timekeeper for the Olympics.

When Omega decided to host Her Time, an exhibition dedicated to women’s watches, the company made sure the opening party was during the well-attended Paris Fashion Week. And it chose Kaia and Presley Gerber as its new ambassadors.

Perhaps not everyone recognises the names – the two are still teenagers, after all – but for those in the dark, these are the children of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman husband (and former model) Rande Gerber.

Kaia, 16, has just had her fashion week debut, walking for Fendi, Chanel and Versace, and is already being hailed as the face of the future. Her brother Presley, meanwhile, 18, is, well, just gorgeous.

To announce the two Gerber youngsters coming into the Omega fold, the watchmaker commissioned an advertising campaign starring all four family members. With Cindy having been an Omega ambassador since 1995, it made sense to make this a multigenerational thing.

By capturing them in one frame, Omega exposed the family’s astonishing good looks to the world. Those of us who remember Cindy Crawford from the 1990s, will be familiar with her statuesque frame, the one perfectly placed mole and that mane of hair. In 1998, when she married Rande Gerber – he of chiselled jaw, perfect nose and cut-glass cheekbones – we knew they would make beautiful babies. Presley even has his mother’s trademark mole.

Call me bitter, but if my family (and I love my family very much) were to pose for a group picture for Omega, we would not look like this.
