Mixed Martial Arts fans who missed out on tickets for the forthcoming UFC 242 action in Abu Dhabi have another opportunity to attend the  highly anticipated event.

Tickets for UFC 242, which sees Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier fight at The Arena on Yas Island on Saturday, September 7 as part of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week, sold out fast in all categories when they first went on general sale.

However, another batch has become available — though deep pockets and a liking for the Red Hot Chili Peppers may be needed.

They are available via a new "Ultimate Access" package, which includes a single Category 2 ticket to the UFC, plus platinum standing tickets to the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ concert on Wednesday, September 4 and Colombian reggaeton artist J Balvin’s gig on Thursday, September 5.

There is 100 of these packages available at a cost of Dh2,499, which the organisers, the Department of Culture & Tourism — Abu Dhabi, says is a saving of Dh541 if the tickets were purchased individually.

The package also includes access to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi on Yas Island, Yas Waterworld and Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi for an extra Dh100 per theme park.

The price breakdown for the three events according to ticketmaster.com are Dh799 for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dh205 for J Balvin and Dh1,495 for the UFC 242 ticket.

You can see what else is going on during Abu Dhabi Showdown Week, which starts on Sunday, September 1, here.

This is the first time the UAE has hosted a UFC event for five years.

As well as the Nurmagomedov versus Poirier clash, the UAE will host its first all-female UFC bout as Canadian Sarah Moras will take on Georgian Liana Jojua, while top-ranked Scottish flyweight Joanne Calderwood, the division's fifth-ranked fighter, will face seventh-ranked American Andrea Lee.
