Kendall Jenner closes Elie Saab show at Paris Fashion Week

Lebanese designer Elie Saab packed out a specially constructed venue in Le Jardin de Tuileries in the heart of Paris on Saturday. Sitting front row at the spring/summer presentation was Kris Jenner. The 59-year-old reality television star nudged her boyfriend Corey Gamble, saying, “Look, here she comes” when her daughter Kendall Jenner appeared on the catwalk in one of Saab’s creations. True to the key codes of the maison, Saab’s collection was awash with lace and florals. Models floated down the ramp in romantic floor-sweeping broderie anglaise dresses, silk-crepe shifts and shorts. The colour palette flitted from angelic white to vivid azure and rose hibiscus. Accessories-wise, Saab’s newest handbag, ‘le 31’, made its debut. The rectilinear design of polished box-calf leather will be available in boutiques across the UAE in the coming months. Bringing the show to a close, model-of-the-moment Kendall Jenner lead the final procession in a black sequinned jumpsuit and gold tassle necklace.
