Kendall Jenner cements status as model of the moment

Kendall Jenner cemented her status as model of the moment by closing Chanel’s autumn/winter 2015/16 haute couture show this week.

The 19-year-old model walked the runway as a Lagerfeld bride, albeit a rather unconventional one. Barely recognisable beneath the razor-sharp ‘tomboy’ bob sported by all of the models at the show, Kendall wore a wide shouldered, double-breasted, white satin suit – complete with epaulettes, four pockets and two rows of buttons.

The look was completed with a billowing tulle veil and a trademark Chanel camellia brooch on her lapel and in her hair.

This was Jenner’s seventh appearance at a Chanel show, but the first time that she took the coveted ‘bridal slot’ solo – in December, she walked the runway as a joint bride alongside bestie Cara Delevingne during the Chanel Métiers d’Art show in Salzburg.
