It was just last month when we last saw singer and actress Jennifer Lopez wearing a gown by a regional designer to the 72nd Annual Golden Globes Awards. Then it was a sandy gold number by Zuhair Murad and last night Lopez attended the Oscars in a honey-hued gown by 50-year-old Lebanese couturier Elie Saab.
The full-tulle skirted dress, which sparkled with hand-sewn pearls, appliqué flowers and crystals, was gathered at the waist by a thin nude belt.
The 45-year-old mother-of-two strode the red carpet confidently in the dramatic neck-to-navel plunging gown, having accesorised with an exotic skin clutch by Salvatore Ferragamo and drop diamond earrings.
