Gucci has just launched a limited edition collection of handbags for eight international cities. Dubai made the cut, along with New York, Rome, London, Paris, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Tokyo. The exclusive renditions of the Gucci Dionysus handbag, a style that was just launched this past December in Milan, will be available in limited quantities at the flagship stores of the eight selected cities.
The statement handbag is crafted from the iconic Gucci patterned canvas, adorned with specialised embellishments unique to each city’s design. The Dubai version features starfish and dragonflies, along with a bold, bedazzled eye emblem. Inside each bag is a leather patch embroidered with a bee motif and the name of the city.
