DUBAI // Boxing legend and 10-time world champion Manny Pacquiao will delight his fans when he visits a new sports shop in Mall of the Emirates next month.
The Filipino sportsman will visit the new Go Sports outlet as part of its launch in the mall on November 5.
The shop, on the third floor, will be the company’s largest in the world and fans are being urged to keep an eye on Go Sport’s social media accounts for more details and a chance to meet the boxer.
Pacquiao, 36, has enjoyed a glittering 20-year career in the ring, with high-profile wins against Ricky Hatton and Oscar De La Hoya, among others.
These victories resulted in him being named “Fighter of the Decade” by the Boxing Writers Association of America, the World Boxing Council and the World Boxing Organisation, in 2011.
In recent years Pacquiao has also taken part in basketball, business, acting, music and politics. A two-time representative in his native Philippines, he announced this month that he would again contest a senate seat in elections next year.
