Hollywood star Will Smith goes skydiving in Dubai

Actor Will Smith decided to jump off a plane during a visit to Dubai last week. He was in the emirate with his wife celebrating their 16th wedding anniversary.

DUBAI // Hollywood superstar Will Smith capped off his Dubai holiday by jumping out of a plane.

Smith and singer Maxwell, along with a group of friends, went to Skydive Dubai this weekend.

“We were in the desert chilling on Thursday and I think it was Will who first brought up the subject of skydiving,” said Anas Bukhash, who spent the weekend with Will Smith, Maxwell and American singer Tyrese, introducing them to Emirati culture.

“Everyone was like, ‘Yes, let’s do it,’ and I didn’t want to be the only one left out.”

On Saturday morning, they were all at Skydive Dubai ready for their jump.

“I was on a different plane, but I think Will was the first to jump out. I was the last to jump from my plane because I was seated in the back. We all loved it, and I wouldn’t mind doing it again.”

Though he spent most of the holiday with the group, actor Tyrese did not join them on the dive.

Over the weekend, Tyrese posted images from his birthday celebration in Dubai on Instagram, including snapshots with Maxwell and Smith dressed in kanduras.

Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, were in Dubai over the weekend to celebrate their 16th wedding anniversary. Smith also reunited on stage with his collaborator DJ Jazzy Jeff for a performance at Barasti Beach Bar on New Year’s Eve
