Aldar’s Yas Acres development almost sold out

Aldar on Sunday said it had sold 90 per cent of the villas and town houses launched to date in the first two precincts within Yas Acres, the Abu Dhabi developer’s flagship golf and waterfront villa development on Yas Island.

Almost 80 per cent of sales are from new customers to Aldar, who are mostly from the Gulf and the wider Mena region.

“We are extremely pleased with the sales success of Yas Acres but also with the number of new customers we have drawn in from different countries. As we prepare to launch the next precinct in the coming weeks it is encouraging to see the significant interest shown by owner-occupiers, underlining the appeal of Yas Island living,” said the Aldar chief executive Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak.

“Yas Acres offers all the key elements that make a house a family home. The distinct community and exceptional design quality of the villas and town houses make it one of the most sought-after addresses in Abu Dhabi, not to mention the convenient access to an array of amenities both within the development and on Yas Island – Abu Dhabi’s most exciting destination.”

A total 1,315 new homes are being built at Yas Acres on an 811,108-square-metre site which includes a golf course, a club house, parks and schools.

The project was unveiled by the developer in April, and work has started on site. It is due to complete in 2019.
