If you have recently become divorced or suffered a broken heart, my advice is to spend as little time as possible wandering around the Four Seasons Resort Seychelles.
Couples adorn the sun beds, restaurants, beautiful palm trees and the resplendent white-sand beach.
They are all romance, smiles and a picture of bliss in this Indian Ocean paradise.
Fortunately, I am not recently divorced and have yet to suffer even a bruised or scratched heart, so I found the honeymooners pleasant enough.
Walking around the hotel, it is hard not to smile - not least because everyone else seems to be having a great time.
The rooms are all small villas with individual infinity pools overlooking the ocean.
The bed is huge, the fridge is huge, the shower head is huge and giant tortoises relax in their own section of the expansive hotel grounds.
The bathtub and the infinity pool are separated by just a glass window, so even indoors you feel that the horizon is spread out before you.
There are also two showers, one inside the villa and one outside by the private pool, so there is no excuse to be conservative with water.
Villas are dotted around a secluded bay and flow up a small hill with amazing views.
You have to call a driver in a buggy to take you anywhere or get incredibly fit walking.
Inevitably, all these pluses lead to a big price. For a one-room villa, prices start at €630 (Dh2,837) per night in the low season and rise to €975 for a villa at the top of the hill during the high season. For families, two-bedroom and three-bedroom villas costing as much as €6,500 a night are available.
If you are the leader of a republic, or want to act like one, there are also presidential suites.
The resort is paradise, but for anyone with a broken heart, I would recommend staying in your amazing villa and ordering room service.
