The exclusive Monte Carlo Beach Club opened on Saadiyat Island last month. It is run by Monte Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, the largest operator of luxury hotels in Monaco.
The company's landmark properties include the Hôtel de Paris in Monte Carlo. The Saadiyat club is the company's first venture outside Monaco and offers private beach access, swimming pools and restaurants.
Annual fees start at Dh35,000 (US$9,529) and rise to as much as Dh219,000 for access to a bungalow. The attraction is largely complete, but the bungalows and tennis courts have yet to be built.
