Noon.com took its place in the UAE's ever growing e-commerce industry during the weekend, offering consumers another alternative to Souq.com, which was recently purchased by Amazon.
Founded by Emaar Properties chairman Mohamed Alabbar, the $1 billion Noon will also go live in Saudi Arabia "in the coming weeks".
To save you the hassle of sifting through the millions of items available on the two websites, we have chosen a selection of popular goods so see how prices compare. All prices are correct as of 8pm, October 1.
