Emirates Airline has provided a first look at one of its futuristic Boeing 777X planes that are on order.
The Dubai airline tweeted an image of the new aircraft, which is in production at the Boeing Everett factory in the US and is expected to roll out next year.
“We’re proud to see the UAE flag for the first time on the Emirates Boeing 777X,” the airline wrote in a tweet.
It said the plane “combines the best features of today’s Boeing 777 with a longer fuselage, new engines, new composite wing design, greater cabin width and seating capacity".
Emirates ordered 150 of the aircraft at the Dubai Airshow in 2013. The deal was nearly half of the 334 orders worldwide.

But the airline said in June it was in talks with the plane manufacturer to renegotiate the order and may be replace few of them with the smaller 787.
The plane is undergoing vigorous testing this year before its expected delivery next June.
The jet has undergone low-speed taxi tests on the runway, while Boeing has also shown off the plane’s folding wing tips that enable an extended span of seven metres, maximising fuel efficiency.
It will come in two variations – the 777-8 and 777-9. The 777-8 will seat between 350 to 375 passengers, while the other can carry 400 to 425, both in a two-class configuration.
Boeing released a short video on Twitter on Monday, giving a peak into the interiors of the 777X and 787 Dreamliner.

Real estate tokenisation project
Dubai launched the pilot phase of its real estate tokenisation project last month.
The initiative focuses on converting real estate assets into digital tokens recorded on blockchain technology and helps in streamlining the process of buying, selling and investing, the Dubai Land Department said.
Dubai’s real estate tokenisation market is projected to reach Dh60 billion ($16.33 billion) by 2033, representing 7 per cent of the emirate’s total property transactions, according to the DLD.

Yemen's Bahais and the charges they often face
The Baha'i faith was made known in Yemen in the 19th century, first introduced by an Iranian man named Ali Muhammad Al Shirazi, considered the Herald of the Baha'i faith in 1844.
The Baha'i faith has had a growing number of followers in recent years despite persecution in Yemen and Iran.
Today, some 2,000 Baha'is reside in Yemen, according to Insaf.

The Houthis cite this as collective "evidence" of Bahai "links" to Israel - which the Houthis consider their enemy.
