The British maker of luxury sports and hypercars Aston Martin will unveil two new models at the 87th Geneva International Motor Show next month.

In addition to being the global motor show debut of the new Vanquish S – the most powerful version of Aston Martin’s Super GT – the firm is also making the European show debut of the AM-RB 001 hypercar, the result of its ongoing collaboration with Red Bull Advanced Technologies.

The comany’s revenues increased to £510.2 million (Dh2.33 billion) in 2015, up 8.9 per cent year-over-year. Full-year adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose to £71.4m from £66.3m in the 12 months ended December 31, 2015. Full-year 2016 results are expected to be about the same.

The company’s much-anticipated DBX small crossover is set to launch this year and is expected to play a significant part in Aston’s longer-term strategy, further lifting sales which are forecast to rise significantly from 2017 when the company is set making a post-tax profit.

Also at the Geneva show, Aston Martin, which has showrooms in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, will be showcasing the marque’s enhanced Q by Aston Martin bespoke service with the unveiling of “Q by Aston Martin – Collection” at Geneva, offering customers an enhanced service to have their car tailor-made.

Examples of previous commissions by Q by Aston Martin include the CC-100 Speedster Concept created for the company’s centenary in 2013 and the Vantage GT12 Roadster, a one-off open-top version of the extreme 600PS race-bred Vantage GT12 Coupe.

“The Vantage GT12 Roadster was a hugely exciting project,” said Aston Martin’s president and chief executive Andy Palmer. “It was a vivid demonstration of Q by Aston Martin’s capabilities. We have a truly formidable creative team, from engineering to design.”

As part of the service, “Q by Aston Martin – Commission”, which Matthew Bennett, the general manager for the Q service, said allows the customer to work “much more closely with us here at Gaydon [the UK-based headquarters]”.

“The only limit is your imagination – every new commission starts with a blank sheet of paper.”
